Papier in Venetië - 10 Maskers

Als papier in Venetië het thema is, dan kunnen de maskers natuurlijk niet ontbreken. Ze zijn - in Papier-maché - misschien wel het bekendste symbool van Venetië. Maskers spreken mij niet heel erg aan omdat ze zo commercieel zijn geworden maar als je goed oplet zijn er nog wel bijzondere exemplaren te vinden. If paper in Venice is the theme than mask should not be missing. They are - in paper-maché - maybe the best known symbol for Venice. They do not appeal to me very much because they're now so commercial but if you pay attention there are still some special specimens to be found. For a few examples see above. (to be continued)
